Dr. Rachel Pera is a Buffalo native and grew up in Kenmore. She attended Alfred University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry. From there, she moved to Ohio to attend the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. While in vet school, she fostered many greyhounds and even adopted one! Her name is Roo. Dr. Pera moved back to Buffalo to begin her veterinary career with the team at City Creatures. In her spare time, she likes playing tennis, roller skating and cheering for the Bills!
