Veterinary Technician

Casey McCrossan

As a Buffalo-native, Casey always felt a connection with every animal she met while growing up. She was inspired to become a Veterinary Technician by her first dog, a shepherd mix named Sable. She graduated from The Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh in 2014, then moved to Virginia Beach with her husband and worked as an Licensed Vet Tech for 3 years at both an emergency practice and a general practice. Casey moved back to Buffalo in 2018 so her daughter, Ellison, could be closer to family. Casey has 3 fur-kids: Tilly, the leader-of-the-pack white German Shepherd, Mason, the independent and dramatic Siberian Husky, and Chewie, the energetic and snugly German Shepherd. On her days off, Casey likes to take her daughter and fur-kids to play at a park or anywhere outdoors. Casey also volunteers for a Virginia-born charity -Spikes K9 Fund- that helps retired and active police k9s.
